snowed under

snowed under
My garden gnome is pretty well snowed under today. We got about about 5 inches of wet snow yesterday that has now frozen rock solid. Poor old gnome. My carrots and garlic are buried under there too.

Great picture! If you get any more snow and his head goes under, you'll have to save him!

Then again, if all that is visible is his red hat, your friends and neighbors will want to know what that new strange vegetable is sticking out of the snow in your garden!

Our snow is so hard I'd need to chisel him out to save him. I think he's out there 'til the thaw. I'll feel bad if his face goes under, but I think he'll be fine...

That is a great picture. You might need to dig out a little of the snow in front of his face so he can breathe out of his mouth again!

Yeah we got a load of the white stuff up north too. Poor guy, he can act as your snow depth monitor... down to his chin, his elbow, his beard and onward.

He makes a great snow measurer! I like your other garden snow pictures also.
