I wondering if the extra fluff means that it is going to be a colder winter?

When I pulled my greenhouse covers out of my shed over the weekend, I discovered two mice had made a nest in the box with shredded grocery bags. I felt bad evicting the cuties--I'd make a terrible farmer with my soft spot for fuzzy creatures.

That mouse remembers last winter, i bet. Did you happen on any Wooley Bears? Maybe their fuzz was thicker, too. Isn't it strange how fast the seasons go?
